I dont know in a first gen but I had a 75 Monte that I had at 120 and it was floating. The fastest I have been is 135 in my Eclipse. Oh and for those who know there second gen Montes they will say a 75 had a 100 mph speedo but I swapped it out of a 74.

My dad has a alert that keeps popping up it says Resident Shield alert. Everything I have seen says it is a virus has anyone here had this and how did you remove it. One forum said to download malware remover but you had to buy it to remove the problem. He has AVG and it does not find the virus. Any help would be great. Here is a link to the pic that I had him snapshot.

I have a set of NOS ones in the attic and they have the red also. I dont know if the red is tape or not.

I know Leo had three for sale one was triple black not sure about the other two. I have a Ascot Blue one and prev had a Mulsane Blue one. That leaves us at 1911.

I dont see alot of Montes but there are some. I actually live in Beavercreek I just put Dayton more people know where it is. Where do you live at.

I dont know that anyone will have that info. I do know that green was a very popular color. Look on the body tag and see where it was built if it is Flint I will be suprised if you find a build sheet. Get some pics of it they love pics here. Is the car located in Ohio. Good luck and congrats on the degree.

The guy that bought my old Monte is going to convert it over to a 4SPD. We were wondering what he will need there is a kit on Ebay that has the pedals z bar zbar bracket and some other parts. I thought I read before where the z bar bracket is different for a Monte. He is getting a M20 or M21 if this helps any pics or info would be great.

Have not pulled the pan. I also need to ck the fluid level it is leaking from the speedometer cable housing.

I was messing with the Monte the other night and noticed that the vacuum port on the rear of the intake has two lines. One goes to the a/c canister and the other to the vacuum modulator. The one going to the a/c is torn would this cause my hard shifting. I will repair it either way but just wanted some input.
