    A few more ?'s

there should be another stamping after that, the last six numbers should be the last six of your VIN, if there are no numbers, it may be a replacement engine, not always though
  3. Leo, HECK YA!!! what else could be more fun with your clothes on win or lose, nothing is better than running the snot out of your hot rod well, almost nothing Sam
  4. we're not to far off, I haven't run my in 2 1/2 years, even running bracket, would be a good race Sam
  5. OK, big block, small block, enough is enough, we can make either one run nothing else is going now on the board now and I was bored, LET'S SEE THE TIME SLIPS FROM BOTH!!! this is the last time I ran, hope you can read them
  6. basically, they are auto adjusting air shocks, if you have an air fitting at the back, they were more than likely replaced with air shocks Sam
  7. I'm right there, was just gonna have it blasted
  8. as long as you're not allowed to vote for your own car
  9. good idea, i'd do that first
  10. I bet it'll shift at 4800 rpm Sam
  11. watch your driveshaft length, the trans yolk I "think" is different Sam
  12. follow thelinkage from the steering colum, where the two meet you will see a bolt that holds them together, loosen that bolt Sam
  13. loosen the adjusting nut, put the shifter in nuetral, manually put the trans in nuetral, tighten the adjuster, give it a try Sam
  14. wind that puppy up, it'll shift, if it blows, time for a up-grade
  15. I think open spacers help the big end I hope Don chimes in here, he'll be able to explain it in detail Sam
  16. Bill, I would just put a fuel cell in the sump ends up so low that it will cause you problems with mounting your pump low enough and close enough to the tank in the long run its cheaper too Sam P.S. if you can wait a month I'll sell you mine, you can see it here in the pic
  17. automatics had the bushings manuels did not Sam
  18. the crossmember sits ON or in the frame, so the frame supports it, not the bolts, at least thats how it is on both of mine, one with rubber bushing, the 4spd doesn't have a bushing Sam
  19. my floor shift 4spd as a muncie shifter (original), I don't know about the bucket seat cars, (different shifters) Sam
  20. Hi Don, how's it going, good to see you, thanks, check out the "oh yea lets race" topic in the general forum, I have a game plan but may have to wait, I have a great combo to use thank-you, but this is adding up to some big $$$, I'll have to play-it by ear, need to sell my edelbrock heads first, then do the combo,(can't wait) Sam
  21. I do have a custom racing drive shaft, the axle is a beefed 12-bolt, the trans is also beefed for racing
