  1. Not much to show on my end. I plowed it up last night around midnight, sunny and clear today. Still real windy, no hot tub until that dies down.
  2. They're trucking it out on the main roads, no place to put it. Side streets aren't touched in some areas either, according to the news. Supposed to be in the 40's in a couple of days, but that may just present a flood problem for some areas. Hard to say, the next week will be real busy for those people. We got around a foot at my house today, now the second wave just hit and it's a total whiteout right now. Real windy too, so it's going to just blow around and drift up even after I plow it out. It's supposed to pass thru pretty quick, so I'll get out there in a bit to move it. Easier when there's no traffic to watch out for.
  3. 77 inches at the football stadium, just on the news. It's still supposed to swing back down and get them again later. We're scheduled for 12-18 inches here according to them now. Certainly looks to be right on track for that at this point.
  4. It's a family oriented forum as Rob says 😁, otherwise I'd tell you how I really feel. No doubt, that guy in shorts is a Bills fan! Thanks, plowing snow as I write this. Can barely keep up with the truck, it's coming down hard.
  5. I used to have Dewalt 14.4 stuff til the batteries went bad. The Milwaukee 18 volt stuff is real powerful, but I do have some of the 12 v stuff like 1/4 & 3/8 ratchets, and a couple die grinders. So handy... My favorite is probably the mini 18v porta-band saw. Damn, I love that thing. No more hacksaw.
  6. Apparently the governor is supposed to come here for whatever reason. Hopefully a snow plow will scoop her up.
  7. Lol, there's a church 3 doors away from me. I'm sure they hear me swearing at the dogs all the time. I'd be afraid to go in there though, for fear of lightning bolts hitting me, or the holy water bursting into flames. I like that a LOT. I converted to Milwaukee cordless tools a few years ago, nice stuff. Remind me to tell you the story sometime about the tool you have pictured, and a buddies car that never drove again after he screwed with my winter car 🤬. (he thought he was being funny setting a backhoe bucket on the trunk, but caved it all in, instead).
  8. And there's about 3 inches already and it's only been a couple of hours. Coming down hard too. Gonna be a long day. Just saw something that said 54 inches in Orchard Park, where the Bills game was supposed to be played on Sunday. Guess I really can't bi*ch, lol This was just on the news...always one bonehead wearing shorts during a blizzard. Pushing out a stuck car.
  9. Thanks Steve. My house only got about an inch or so yesterday, but...it's supposed to start up again soon at 4 AM, until 11 PM tonight. That's going to be the big one for us. Buffalo and the suburbs have been getting hammered and this second wave is supposed to hit hard again. Hopefully it doesn't move as far north of Buffalo as they project, but we'll find out soon.
  10. I have a couple of them here, no worries.
  11. It has served me well for troublesome pieces of crap...
  12. I wear glasses anyways. That thing had been annoying me for far too long.. Weedwhacker too. A couple of lawnmowers before that, but never got pictures of those ones. Same sledge hammer though.
  13. That revolver of yours will do just fine. 🔫 The other option is 'Hammer Time". Notice I practiced 'Safety First', an insulated handle, as the stereo was plugged in and turned on at the time.

    New Guy Here

Doug is hunting right now, may be in the heart of the heavy snow. I'll call down there later to check, but he wasn't coming home until Thanksgiving originally. It snowed this evening here, but only an inch or so. Supposed to start this evening, then steady all thru the night until Saturday night. I'm sure I'll be in the tub at some point. Already sore from the last couple days of work cleaning gutters, cutting the grass/chopping leaves up, getting the truck ready, plus snow tires on a couple vehicles. Being sick hasn't made it pleasant either.

    New Guy Here

Moved a few things around today. Supposed to get a lot of snow in the next couple of days. Nice to have my lift back to change snow tires, and just waiting for the misery to begin.
  16. I was thinking more on the lines of the stripped down, no option crap boxes, sort of like ordering a Monte on the cheap. Many, many years ago I looked at a V8 Vega, but it was sort of hacked up. Glad I passed on that one. I burst out laughing at that! Yeah, every kid gets a trophy nowadays, even the one that catches the ball with his face.
  17. Vegas and Pintos were different too, doesn't make them desirable, lol
  18. I bet the Fiero boys don't have this much fun dissecting tv show appearances of their cars. Probably because ....well, .....maybe I'll just try to be nice here and stop now...🤣
  19. I saw it and took pics, was going to post them up earlier. The beauty of a DVR is you can freeze, rewind, pause. After further review, it was a different car than the 70 SS454 that was in the initial pics. The wreck appears to be a 72 that is missing right side door trim, rear wheel trim, and it appears the left quarter was possibly already damaged when I stepped thru it frame by frame? 🔎 The nice 70 SS454: The donor car before impact: The donor 72 Monte after impact:
  20. Good for you! That small price is worth 100 times more in the knowledge and help you'll receive from the site and the members here. It'll also let you join us at the club sanctioned events at Carlisle, and Kentucky. You're not too far, being in Rochester, NY. Thank you!
  21. This was sent to me by Dennis, via Chris Shipley as they were having trouble posting it. Hopefully it will work this time https://barnfinds.com/rare-3-speed-manual-1971-chevrolet-monte-carlo/
  22. Is the air blowing out the face plate only when you're moving, or all the time?
