I just looked at the Parts Place ones. I like the Monroe better. They have the protective boots like the factory ones did. All are the wrong color though. I left mine black.

I believe None had them from the factory. What you’re seeing is everyone’s best idea.

Willie you need to open the doors on the greenhouse when you run the cars. The exhaust fumes are eating away at you brain and your forgetting things. So let me say it again. NOT HAPPENING. Joe, you can throw what ever you want at me, make sure it’s valuable cuz your not getting it back and I have to be able to reach it from my chair. Lol.

No. The trim ring is just cuz. I’m going to find a way to make a rally cap to bolt down the jack. The rubber filler is your fault. Great eye though.

By the way I did a “ find Elmo” on the car. Blatantly wrong but I thought it was neat and different. Can anyone find it? It’s in two of the pictures.

O come on people!!!!!!! You can give me something. Seriously, I really do value the opinions of the group. If it wasn’t for the help of you guys this project may have never happened. And it most certainly would not of turned out as it did. I thank you all.

This is picture overload. Lol. A few things to note. 1- car has not been cleaned at all 2- no front or rear glass ( rear chrome is sitting too low and front chrome is not there) 3- dash pad is not screwed down ( screws are on the console) one of my missing parts goes under the pad Heck with all these pictures I won’t even need to bring it to Carlisle. I’ll just make a picture board and put it in my spot. Lol.

There has to be things I missed, screwed up or just plain messed up. After a year and a half you get car blind and stop seeing things. I don’t want to wait till Carlisle and you all get to hammer me in person. I can’t fix it there. But you guys are correct you don’t see flaws very easy in pictures. Unless it’s a picture of me( ugh). Lol. Thanks to all.
