    Yep I know the feeling. Your car is looking very nice. Keep plugging ( that’s what I have to tell myself) eventually you’ll get there.

    Some come with some don’t but you can probably unscrew the one off your old water pump. Called hose nipple. Chain stores have them in the Forman help section. I believe 3/4 in hose nipple is what your after

    Thanks Aaron I do have the pass valve cover decal. I will add all them others to the list. O boy it’s a long list. Thanks again Dennis p.s. I could use that air cleaner too

    My SS has no decals anywhere on the car except for the radiator cover. No door jamb no trunk. Is this normal?

    I agree with the install tool. I’ve pressed them on with a rigged set up but it’s a pain in the ars. If you beat them on with s hammer and block of wood you risk throwing the balancer out of balance by moving the rubber insert. That makes all kinds of funny( not so ) vibrations

    You can buy the big set at harbor freight. Keep in mind the quality sucks but it works

    Don’t use a 3 jaw it will pull the steel hub with the rubber insert off and leave you with the hub left. Use one of this type

    Use some white out to mark it so you can see it with a light when it’s running

    That the piece that goes along the roof, cut off two inches and slide it over and it should sit under the drip rail and not be really noticed — cut the front section by the windshield

    If you do the back glass vinyl you will have to add pins to hold the trim down and also the chrome going along side on sale panel will end about two inches short of mating up with the drip molding. Mabey 1 1/2

    I’m looking for a nice rear defrost switch and I am seeing like 3 different versions. Can someone pretty please post a picture of a OE CORRECT switch for a 71. Thanks so much Dennis

    When you buy a top to put on it,it goes windshield to below back glass. There should be enough left to go to the drip moldings but then you will have to cut all the trim pins off the roof. What are your plans on the back end of the car below the back glass and the sale panels. There is chrome there also
