  1. Nice to see another time capsule saved.
  2. Is that price per set or all four corners ?
  3. Hey Daniel, just looking at the photos you posted... It looks like the mechanism is out of line, either bent or maybe the guides aren't in their slot ? The glass shouldn't be that tight to one side. Have you opened the panel ? The little grate below the window will let you see inside, but you'll have to pull the interior panel to really get at it. I'm also wondering if the glass is correct..... Assuming that the picture show it all the way rolled up, it looks long/tall to me. Might be that someone just threw something in that worked at the time....... There should be a part number in the bottom corner that'll tell for sure. How this sheds some light on the problem. Scott.
  4. Just get in touch with jft69z (Joe)..... He'll set you up. Welcome to the show.
  5. Just a quick question Dan, How's the window mechanism working ??? If it's binding or missing bushings, or out of alignment, it may cause the molding to catch....I'm also with Willie on the door issue. That needs an adjustment. Scott.
  6. The worst part is that crap they make you drink....... Everything else goes pretty slick.
  7. From the title, I thought he was talking about his colonoscopy.......
  8. Got the fibre optic light on my washer fluid on mine as well.
  9. As for the undercoating, I've used the Kleen-flo stuff. It's pretty easy to spray, is paintable, and doesn't harden like a rock. Mind you, heat from the engine might have an effect on that.
  10. With a body like that, it'd probably be to hard to bend and pick up short people and pets..... Maybe if you bench pressed them up ???
  11. P.S..... We love pictures. And crayons. LOL
  12. Welcome to the club Peter.... Hope you enjoy it as much as the rest of us. Scott
  13. Some sort of hydraulic lift/platform that comes out from under the car..... Then tucks away while driving. Could also double as a jack system for tire changes.
  14. Nope.... By the time the snow had melted and I was able to see what had happened, It had been just over a year from the purchase date.
  15. Took Montelishi out for her first run on the new Bilsteins..... I'd have to say I liked them. I understand your point Mark, but after the KYB's failed in less than one season, I figured the extra $$$ was worth a try.
  16. Might require some type of a crane/elevator system to get all the passengers loaded though....
  17. Moog has a good selection of U joints as well.
  18. No need to worry about A/C in that !!!
  19. NP... Get the yoke first and measure it. I made the mistake of ordering a UV for my diff. when I switched from an 8.2" to a 12 bolt. Found out they both use the same joint AFTER it arrived. Now I've got a joint I'll probably never use.
  20. Finally got the new tires on and the carb tuned !!! Took her for her first real run of the season........ So glad spring is here !!!
  21. Hey Curtis... Welcome to the club. Besides changing the transmission end yoke, you'll have to trim about 3" off the driveshaft as the th400 is about 24 1/2" long whereas the th350 is about 21 1/2"... As to finding a yoke, there's a few members here that have been hoarding parts for years. I'm pretty sure someone's got what you're looking for. Try looking in the "parts wanted/for sale" section. Best of lick, Scott.
  22. ANOTHER MONTE SAVED !!!! Way to go Kevin !!!
  23. Hey Rob... It was a explanation I got from an old Chevy guy years ago when we got talking about my T-Type not being available with a manual transmission. Basically we got into warranty/safety issues that the factory wouldn't install, and the conversation went from there. He did say he worked at a G.M. dealership in the '70's..... And seeing as I was much younger then, I was just trying to respect my "elder".
  24. Not that many big block "SS" cars would ever use cruise control...... You'd need a trailer to haul the extra gas tank along.
  25. I've got those clips on the console of my '70. But none in the back seat.
