    I found it was easier to do it with the differential out of the car.

    Edelbrock makes an adjustable cable bracket that will make aligning everything easier....

    And a type 3 carrier.... 2.73 gears are housed in a type 2.

    The bracket that holds the cable looks to high. It needs to be on the same level as the bolt on the accelerator linkage. Otherwise it binds.

    And to think 50 years ago most of our Montes were subjigated to winter driving.

    Was only ever there once about 10-12 years ago...... Training courses in Mississauga. Way to much traffic !!!! And I'm pretty sure Montelishi's enjoying the "low salt" diet out here.

    Montelishi spent a good deal of her life in Ontario..... But she seems to like the open spaces out here in the west. She's a little more rare and unique around here, and I think she likes the attention.

    Hi John, I had similar issues finding the right sender for my '70 as well. The first sender i had was an "idiot light" unit that reacted the same was. It took a couple tries... Apparently the quality of sending units has really declined... But I found one made by Dorman that works good. Best of luck in your search, Scott.
