I have that same kit on my BBC and have had 0 issues with it. It's been on the car for 2500 miles or better and some of the miles haven't been that easy. Really looks nice on the front of the engine assy. Good luck in the decision

Like to looks w/o the side trim, but I'd leave the W/O moldings one. Just enough to set it off. They are right about the Chevelle having only the W/O moldings and no side chrome. I think it looks fine just the way it is. JMHO!

The Montes look good with rallies. I've got centerlines on mine and don't really care for them. Got a bad taste in my mouth in dealing with those AHs in CA. I'd like a set of Race Stars on mine if I had the choice.

I'm trying to formulate a plan for a restoration of the 70 I just bought. I don't want to do a frame off because I really don't have the place, equipment or time. I just want to start to rebuild it and wondered if anyone has a game plan that has worked for them. The car is all original and has not been driven since 1988. It's not a very heavyly optioned car, has AC, and that's about it. Just want to make it a nice driver for cruise nights and trips around Washington. I never had a plan on the other 70 and I went way to far with it. Don't get me wrong, it's a great car and fun to drive, it just isn't much for the street anymore. Sure would like to find it a home and spend the money on the other one. There has to be someone who wants a race car out there. Thanks in advance

Well, they finally finished the roll cage in the Monte and we got the interior put back in. (all but the back rest in the rear seat) Some cutting and mending to do. Looking for the padding for the roll bar. The stuff that's required for racing. Would Summit have it? Thanks for any information. I know, pictures. Soon

So sorry to hear of the break, but 200 passes on the gears is pretty good. Currie or Moser? That is a lot of abuse for a 12 bolt. Hope mine will last that long. Love your videos. Just like sitting in the passenger's seat. Keep us posted.

What all do you have to do to, as you put it "Bust into the 9s" I'm really getting excited to get mine ready. I haven't even tried it since I put on that new Pro-Systems carb.

Which One!!! Finished the roll cage in #1 Monte Replaced the passengers door glass in #2 Monte.

We installed Richmond gears (3:73) and an Auburn posi in my 12bolt about four years ago and no problems yet. I have Moser axles w/c-clip eliminators. Very satisfied with a job well done.

I'm in need of a heat tube that goes from right exhaust manifold to air cleaner horn. I also need the vent hose from the right valve cover to the air cleaner. Where can I purchase them.
