is it possibal the trans was changed when the engine was switched out?

was wondering if these are the heads i would want. they are oval port open chamber #336781 113cc heads. i have the old type with 13/16" spark plugs but on a 77 engine. dont know which is better?

just did this but mine wasnt this easy. the bolt that holds the pin in center was sheered off. some drove it this way and pretty well ruined the spool. i had to beatthe pin out2 inches cut it off, beat it out cut it off, you get the point. was alot easier than i thought putting back together. this was the rearend in a truck project i got and not my monte so i figured that would be a good experiment. seams fine and no whining or noises.

thank you, i was going to try to get something gm maybe from a 454 but some are very high. i wish i had my origional. when i rebuilt my engine in 87 i put a direct fan and i was young, dont know what i did with origional. i was hoping to free up some hp.

was wondering if anyone knew the part # on a clutch for a fan on a 72 monte with 402? ebay has alot of them but i want it to be correct.

i used a brilo pad then no. 7 chrome polish then wax. i prefer new finish but had something different. then i painted the inside. i like this look instead of the chopped up chhrome look. making that chrome look nice is hard.

they sell two different kits. one with correct markings & and one that is ribbed? just wondered which is for the 72?

i have 72 monte with a 402. do i need heater hoses with markings or no markings and ribbed? thank you!

the bigger the # the hotter the plug? is this correct? i work on atvs and i know with ngk plugs the lower the # the hotter the plug? joe

they are r44t, is this incorrect? do i need r44ts? i thought the 73 s were all electronic ignition. that is usually how i get my wires, 73 monte 454. im not sure if i need tappered seat or gasketed type. i know what each are but dont know which i need. you guys need to quit telling me what you are using and tell me what i need. i guess the r44 (heat range) is correct. i dont know on the rest and ive never seen so many different gaps in all my life.

im getting ready to replace plugs and wires, seems i got nothing right when i switched this to hei 15 years ago so i thoought i would ask you guys. ac r44t at .055 gap. i think i will try autolites. have had good luck with them before. is this the right plug and gap?
