  1. my other ride has a 496 10.25comp. 714 lift. AFR 335 cnc heads. Vic Jr 1050 dominator. made about 670hp pump gas for reference- good luck with build!
  2. boss 338 18x9.5 in rear with 275/40 18 22.5 height to lip boss 338 18x8.5 in front with 245/40 18 24 height to lip rides on coil-overs nowadays-- believe backspace is 4.5 cant remember

  6. Tobin is an awesome tech/owner. Helped me with multiple issues. I also converted my car to a C5 booster/ master cylinder setup and he was great helpin out with metric conversion fittings and bore size questions

  9. do to design of rear, the axles's C-Clip govve on the axle wears away. jack up car and move tire in and out. amazed on how much lateral play u find----
  10. Hedman Hustler makes a mid-lenght header now for A-bodies LS swaps. a little wierd but they list specifically 70-72 Monte serparately.... I called and asked tech why Monte is diff. from 68-72 A-BODY and he said nicley, "Because thats how they made them" grrrr. he coudnt give any reasons why or what is differant. so now im stuck on which to order. Heres the kicker- the Monte Part # is actually same as earlier 66-67 A body....[you said a naughty!]???????

  13. i ordered some elbows and straight pieces and tig welded....filter exits under fender near wheel well
  14. there a set on ebay for 55$ listed as FILLER TRIM....BTW, the car a took them off years ago was also a halo roof car. i still have the halo if anybody needs....
  15. changing my front bumper and was just cleaning them up. never saw anybody else with them in all these years
  16. anybody know how rare the headlight bezel brow molding is? its the horizontal piece of trim that screws to the bottom of the lite bucket, right above the bumper. also i think it is a 70 only option.....
  17. make sure ground wire is actually grounded (behind dash switch)
  18. you you basically went with the 335 fully ported setup, correct? cause the 325 arent fully cnc ported....
  19. compression ratio is more important to gaining with open headers than actual H.P. level....

  21. thank you sir! i also finished my brakes this past week...the C5 vette rear system is finally complete, as well as C5 booster/ master cylinder . now i can stop from that buck twenty+ heading to captree....
