The orig lines are steel lines you can make up new ones yourself or im pretty sure you can get them ready made, I think most of the coolers use rubber hose to hook them up but maybe someone makes them with fittings.
Was only 87 here today but was moving day for my daughter so thats what I did but after took monte out to the stor and a little cruise going to take it to work tomorrow because my daughter has my car as hers is in for repair.
Yesterday would have been my wifes 56th birthday so today I loaded up monte with shovels soil and flowers and went to the cemetery to plant some flowers was a somber but nice day
Im pretty sure you need better air flow than you could get in the firewall and the lines run off the tranny cooler lines but check the instructions I have only done a couple of them and was like almost 30 years ago. Real men do need instructions.
Cant help ya with the bb lifter info but you may want to check for the exhaust leak first. Take a vacuum hose and put one end up to your ear and the other end go around the header or manafold where they bolt to the head that will pinpoint if there is a leak that way you can rule that out easily. You can also tape it to a peice of wire (stiff coathanger or something like that) and bend the end to get to the bottoms easily too.
Had it out Sat for oil change some degreesing underneath and some running around and today it didnt leave the garage has been off and on rain all afternoon.
When you say its a square pan do you mean square with the one corner off or square? this is a 3 speed auto right. Some did come with powerglide which was a 2 speed auto. Just want to make sure you have the right info.
When I log in and check the box that says remember me it dont. It used to remember me and would be loged in whenever I came on but since I updated my anti virus program it dont. I use AVG anti virus. Its not a huge deal just kind of a pain. Thanks
My question is why do you need to take it completly apart. just clean it up and sand blast it all together then you can replace or repair the backing plates. Just make sure you clean the sand out of the tight areas (pinion and axles) if you pull the axles to change the backing plates change the axel seals
