Pops Toy Posted March 21, 2014 Share Posted March 21, 2014 1970 Monte Carlo beanch seat-seat belts won't unlatch. They are not rusty just stuck. The GM symbol is stuck down towards the front and all the way up towards the back. Any tips or trick would be appreciated. overdrive Posted March 21, 2014 Share Posted March 21, 2014 You can get in to repair that. On the deluxe belts,(metal cover), the rear edge of the cover has the corners that are bent down. At each corner, slip a small screwdriver under the edge and pry it out and up a little. The cover will lift off and you can see the problem with the release button.
