overdrive Posted December 17, 2024 Author Posted December 17, 2024 A very belated thank you, Dennis. Obviously, I haven't posted about this car in a good while. Suffice it to say I've been spending a lot of time caring for my parents, working my electrician day job, and driving and showing the SS whenever I can find time. We had a great time with it and the club members at the 2013 FGMCC Eastern meet in Somerset, Ky. I like the GM comfort grip steering wheel much better than the repop. After doing some trouble shooting on the Quadrajet in April '23, it's running better than ever with zero hesitation, and the stall convertor from Freak Show Performance works great! I hope to do a few things on the car in the next couple of months. Dan 7 Quote

overdrive Posted May 9 Author Posted May 9 Thanks! I took a photo last evening. I took the car to a big show at the Lake of the Ozarks last weekend and had a good time talking to a lot people about it. There were several that never knew a Monte Carlo SS454 was available from the factory, some that knew it, but had never actually seen one, and many that didn't know the G67 load leveling option was available from the factory on any Chevrolet. It was a very fun day. 10 Quote
