vince
I'm not sure if this is posted in the right place but here we go. My Monte has a floor shifter that was tied to a th350, for my LS conversion I have installed a 4L60E. My question is about the linkage that turns the steering column what is its purpose? and do I need it for the 4L60E?
Sam (Bones)
steering column lock
CKZ03
Disconnect and remove it, you don't really need it anyhow. As Sam said, it's just for the steering wheel lock and so you can't pull into gear or neutral without turning key to on position. 70's anti theft system
