snomobeelr
I had the Headliner installed last year before I got the car back. Its a 71 and I have the mirror that screws to the roof. Anyone have any pictures of it mounted? I didn't want to start by cutting the headliner.
Murphy
Don't cut the headliner! Here's a pic after I removed the original mirror and prep to install a glass mounted style. You'll see 3 screw holes where the mirror mounts and then the section of molding I had to install.

snomobeelr
One last dumb question . Is there supposed to only be two screws in the front. Or is there supposed to be a 3rd in the back? See attached. Thanks
72-CLASSIC_RIDE
Yes there are 3 screws that hold the mount in place. Doug
Murphy
That doesn't look like the OEM bracket that I removed, it's much too long........
overdrive
Looks the same as the one in our '71. The third screw gets installed after you put the rubber cover over the bracket. Dan
