Arvizu9618
I know our rides take the 6" tailshaft, I have the opportunity to get a TH350 with a 9" tail. My question is: can I swap the transfer case??? Thanks, ART
Sam (Bones)
no...I assume you mean tailshaft the output shaft of the trans has to be changed too

Sam (Bones)
output shaft of the trans has to be changed to use the other tailshaft housing
Heckeng
You can run the 9" tranny if both the output shaft and tailshaft are both for the 9". You do have to shorten the driveshaft though. Still, that may be cheaper than having a transmission rebuilt. I run a 9" tailshaft transmission.
kc8oye
unless you have a 4x4 monte.. I don't think you have a transfer case *chuckle*
