Fastener/ bolt kits

Recommended Posts

So I'm going to be putting the front end back together again soon, and I need fasteners. I kept as many as I could and labeled them, but I had to break or cut lots of them. I'm looking for a fastener kit, or several that will get me what I need for fenders, inner fenders, and core support/headlight hardware. Just wondering if anyone has had experience with any of these kits.

Thanks!

Oh boy, thanks!

I just checked, it looks like they have 2 versions, one is just stainless I believe. I'll call in the morning to make sure it comes with what I need. I'm guessing I'll also need a headlight adjustment kit.

I got a few of them, pretty complete. I think I got one from OPGI, and the rest straight from AMK. The one from OPGI was an AMK kit, I just googled what was on the little tag in the kit and went straight to the source. It seems most of the ones available from a lot of the vendors are from them (at different prices). Poke thru all the catalogs, they'll have just about anything you want.

Also, if you decide to order direct from them, do it online. The shipping will be a flat fee. If you do it over the phone, you'll get charged the actual shipping cost, which in my case was a bit more. Lesson learned, next box I needed I did online.

This is great! I am definitely going to have to make a list...tempting to get a master kit...even though it will come with things i do not need. The price might be worth the extra fasteners.

I did run into that a bit, plus there's a bit of overlap in some kits. It was still much easier & maybe a bit cheaper than ordering everything separate. Worst case, the fasteners you don't use for their 'intended' purpose, use somewhere else on the car. I did find uses for some of the extra stuff.
