Tim972
What’s the best fuel tank vent options for a 72’ with stock tank and almost all the original vent components missing? Run a remote vent off of the tank near the filler neck? Or is vented gas cap better option ? Thanks
714024SPEED
The cap should have a vent hole. You can also run a line from the tank sender off one of the original vent lines and put a fuel filter at the end ,just make sure you mount it higher than the tank. I used all 3 of the vent lines from the tank to the separator behind the back seat, and put the filter on the remaining/open hard line up on that set of lines up high. Fram G2 filter fit good. Tank is vented, no worry about fuel spillage with it mounted high, and I don't smell any vapors, at least to date..
