420ponies Posted January 11, 2023 Share Posted January 11, 2023 Anyone using these ? Looking at roller tip rockers for the BBC 427. I was thinking of the Magnum Roller tip rockers, but my cam is .567/.587 lift (hydraulic roller lifters), and over the nose pressure is 360 lbs. on the springs. Will the Ultras fit under a stock valve cover or will I need spacer under valve cover ? I'm worried about hitting Brake Booster. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
MC1of80 Posted January 11, 2023 Share Posted January 11, 2023 Sorry, nothing roller fits under the stock valve covers on a big block Chevy. I have the magnum roller tip rockers on "Big Red". I used the Mr gasket thick valve cover gaskets and a 3/4 b&b valve cover spacer between the stock height valve cover. Now places like Ground Up make the "tall" stock style valve covers for just this reason. In orange or chrome. 4 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
