Dtret Posted February 28, 2023 Posted February 28, 2023 Based on the information posted, in another section, YH rally wheels are special for a 69 Z28. K 1 0 4 code. Not supposed to be for my pos70? All 4 are date matched identical too. Quote
714024SPEED Posted March 1, 2023 Posted March 1, 2023 I learned from a friend of mine that has been dealing with rims for over 25 years and was very knowledgeable on the codes. The YH wheel is correct for a 70 Monte if dated correct for your car. They were also correct for the z28 also if they are 69 date coded they were used on disc brake cars. They stopped the YH codes in late 70 and went to the FW code in 71. So long story short if they are dated correct for your car grab them because it's not easy to find a complete set with the same date code nowadays and for a reasonable price. 2 Quote

They were on the car when I got it. Both the car and the rims dated April, 70. I guess that’s about as close as I’m going to get. Lol. Now let’s see if I can save them. A couple are pitted pretty good. 4 Quote
Montemedic Posted March 1, 2023 Posted March 1, 2023 Doug, I see a wheel restoration in your future. Quote
