70 Iron
Just started having a problem with antifreeze coming out the overflow. Its only running around 200 with A/C on & 90 deg out,put another cap from a known good rad ,have a recent new 4 row rad,new pump that came on the crate engine ZZ 454,not over filled, good flow thru rad (looking with the cap removed)Its been doing fine for the last couple of yrs, just started this. No leaks anywhere,I straped a 12oz bottle to the side of the rad and placed the over flow hose in and the bottle filled up after running about 15 miles. Any Ideas what the problem could be ? Thanks, Terry
70 Iron
I believe I found the problem, changed the stat which I think was stuck open and forcing the water to fast thru the rad and pushing it out.Drove for 12 or so miles after the stat open with the bottle still in place and no coolant coming out the overflow. Thanks Terry
