d-g
I buy alot of older cars, mostly older muscle cars etc restore some, sell some, enjoy each and every one.. luckily Im in Tucson, so the cars are almost always nice rust free examples. Ive known about this 70 SS now for about 2 yrs and finally worked a deal with the guy the other day and bought it. Originally it was a triple gold car, pretty cool. Im going to try to locate the buildsheet this weekend and get it running. its been sitting for about 10 yrs now. Plenty of pics to come as I get it cleaned up and stuff. VE3HZZ
WOW that is real close to the one on my car. It also was a Flint Michigan car and was built in Sept 69 so that has to be the build date of yours as well as there close on the production line. Here is the VIN tag (hard to read from the glare I know And a better one on the drivers door. Mine is a 350/TH350 bench model that was purchased new in St. Catherine's ON. Pics of your beastie when you have a chance. There is a GOLD/GOLD one 1970 for sale here and it's a nice colour if you keep it original. Nice find..oh and Scott
jays55
Don't work too hard or tear too much stuff out looking for the build sheet......as I understand it they never turn up in Flint-built cars. Good luck (and let's see some more pics!)

SS Haze
Welcome aboard. My 70 SS is a Flint also. Looked high and low, no sign of a build sheet. Mike

overdrive
From what you've posted, I take it this is the one you bought. That'll make a real nice SS. Congratulations. Dan
