I would be willing to trade you the 72 i have for the 71 as I would like to have the correct core support for my vehicle as well which is a 71, I belive with a 70 core support installed on it.Let me know if you are interested? Jared Richey Posted March 6, 2012 Share Posted March 6, 2012 71-72 fender extensions and core supports will interchange with each other. Â 1970 is totally different. The Headlights are in different locations to convert to a 70 fender extension you would have to use a 70 core support. Â To use 71-72 fender extensions you need the same year support. bdoubleu Posted March 6, 2012 Share Posted March 6, 2012 See that's what was I was thinking.I now have a core support for a 72 and the extenstions and the bezels that larry gave me,thanks Larry:-).But now I am wondering would it be easier to try a 70 ext without replacing the one thats in.
