MC-71
You can send them to Year One. They have someone who rebuilds them. A friend of mine had a couple of them rebuilt at Year One. I'll try to get the info on how much. He did say they work really well. Do you have 2 speakers in the dash? You should only have one in the dash for AM. One also in the back. Right side passenger side rear.

MC-71
Rob. If you have a stock AM radio I believe you should only have a single speaker in the center of the dash. Now if you had a AM FM radio that would require 2 speakers for stereo. Someone might of swaped them out. My advice is take everyting out and go with a modern set up. stangeba
Two speakers were required if the car had A/C. Didn't matter if it was AM or what ever, the air duct work for the center vent is in that center speaker area. Bruce

Bruce Bruce is correct, My original 71 with AC has 2 dash speakers and an original AM radio.
Canuck
I agree, if the car has AC, you got 2 front speakers no matter what radio was ordered.
