Sam (Bones)
the large vacuum port under the fuel inlet is for your PCV which I do not see one, that is one of your issues I see you are going to put one in the small vacuum line drivers side probably can be plugged too

71MonteCarloMD
Yes, that's my other plan to move it as its not using original hose. Thanks
71MonteCarloMD
As for the fuel line - I am looking at this part to replace fuel line from carb to fuel pump, is this correct one as close to original? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/rsd-fpc7001/applications/make/chevrolet/model/monte-carlo/year/1971 OR https://www.opgi.com/monte-carlo/1971/fittings-hoses/lines/P007001/
Sam (Bones)
either one of those will work, be ready to have to "make" it fit
71MonteCarloMD
Smile - does it matter if the fuel line is made of original material or stainless steel?
72jrfan88
I replaced my fuel line from pump to carb with the opgi part you have pictured. I really had to work on it for my 350 4brl on my 72. I ended up returning it and custom made one at a friends auto shop out of real steel. Looks more OEM and less shiny.I ended up using a coat hanger I cut and used the skinny wire as a template then used a bender on the actual part.
