  1. I looked at the old drivers side power window harness and there was a bridge wire from that harness to the rear window defogger harness before it went into the IGN terminal on the fuse box. I pulled that connector and put it on my new hardness and my windows are now working. Thanks a lot for the assistance you guys provided!

  2. Steve, That's a nice looking camping setup you've got there . I like the two entry doors. And with that truck it never realizes it's even pulling anything !!

  3. Honest answer, Mark, I don't remember. It was obviously the yellow wire that I tied off as shown in the fourth photo above and the two additional photos below. There may have been a wiring diagram included with the light assembly. I certainly don't remember doing any trial and error routine and, believe me, I am not that lucky to choose the correct wire to eliminate and the other three pairings so I must have had some direction. Do your new light assemblies have the same four colored wires coming out? If so, I suggest you strip the ends of the three wires I used (even before you trim the length) and connect them temporarily with wire nuts to a 1157 plug as shown in the photos and install it in the upper socket. Now have a helper engage your headlights, brake light and turn signals while you watch. If everything works properly, as it does on my car, you know you have the correct three wires and respective plug connections. If the wire colors are different on your new light assemblies you will either need to do some comparative wire tracing, reference a wiring diagram or do some trial and error (hopefully not damaging anything in the process). Sorry my memory is not very good and that was a couple years ago now. That's the main reason I usually take lots of photos of my projects - hope they help.

  4. The right side of my front bumper was so high I couldn't install the two small screws at the bottom of the fender extension. I fixed all that today.

  5. Put this in the live and learn column, it was time to change transmission fluid and filter so I figured I would change the pan with a nice chrome one. Well it leaked real bad for no apparent reason so I pulled it back off and saw nothing wrong with it but I cleaned up and painted the original one and put it back on, no leaks at all. So now I have a nice shiny item to hang on the garage wall. Took it out today it ran great.
