No clear at all. Just alot of coats of carnauba wax after I got it clean

Here ya go guys. This is what I used. First spray the black then alot of very light layers of the chrome.

I'm sorry I did not. It takes about 4 and a half hours to tape it all off just to spray the chrome. I took the metal Fram out of it and had it bead blasted and then I sprayed it and reinstalled it with blind treaded rivets. I will take some better pictures this weekend. It looks twice as good in person as it does in the pictures. I am very pleased with the end result

I resprayed the black dash with SEM. I resprayed the chrome with this cool chrome paint I got online as the stuff in the auto stores is junk. I compound the woodgrain and then put 10 coats of hand rubbed carnauba wax on it letting it dry for a day in between coats. Alot of work but the pictures don't do it justice

Sorry guys no pictures of the NOS grille. I passed on it. There was some pitting on the chrome face and for what it cost I wasn't gonna settle. Sorry

I think I would have them resprayed. Especially after how nice the rest of the car turned out -
I took mine off the frame with floor and bottle Jacks and 4x4. Had no issues and did it by myself. Then I built a 4x4 cradle with wheels to move it around. You can see pictures in the ss section on this site. Good luck with your project Joe
