  1. I just recently put a catch can in mine...although it was only a tiny bit, I was tired of cleaning antifreeze off my control arm as it flung from that hose... Steve
  2. Looks like you should be saying to the Monte "Open Wide and take your medicine"....lol Looks great but now you'll need some suspension work to make it all "hook"....lol... It never ends... Steve
  3. Phoenix graphics have been around a long time...... I would trust them..... Andreas'...I'm not a big fan of stripes on a Monte..but yours look good! Steve
  4. I think you need to take the manifold off to see whats going on in there......
  5. Is that a flat tapped cam or a roller cam? Sounds like you just have roller tip rockers. Therefore break in is necessary on a flat tapped cam...... If it's a flat tapped cam and the rocker doesn't have as much movement as the others, you may have flatten a lobe on the cam which is not uncommon on flat tapped cams and the lack of Zinc in the new oils.... I'm not even going to say what I think of Comp Cams stuff..... Steve
  6. By the time your done with putting the polish on the stitching the entire panel is covered.....after buff and polish, It doesn't get on your clothes. That's one eye opening interior Andy! Steve
  7. Looks great...I like the color too!!!! Steve
  8. So Rodney...does it look as good in person as the picture? Steve
  9. Has this guy had your stuff since this was originally posted August of 2011???? Steve
  10. Greg, I think you need to post a picture of your tail pipe extensions....You know...the ones as to not annoy the neighbors as you leave the house in the am Steve
  11. That is cleeeeeaaaaannnnnnn.... Very impressive!!!! Steve
  12. Now that's "wheels up"!!!! Fantastic!!!! Steve
  13. So the rug on my door panels was looking faded and made an otherwise nice panel look dingy. So I took them off and redyed the carpet....but that's not the tech help... So after the rug was looking all sharp, now the rest of the panel looked a bit dingy because the stitching had lost that really black look, especially in the pull handle. So with the use of a little shoe polish (the kind in the tin) and an old tooth brush, they look like new again. I figured they use shoe polish on your shoes and it doesn't wear off on your pants so why not. A bit of buffing with a rag and the shoe polish brush and I'm very impressed with how they came out. So I figured I would pass this on..... Steve
  14. Took my door panels off to re-dye the rug part of it....then a little shoe polish on the stitching and they look like new again! Steve
  15. Thanks again guys... pulled the trigger today and ordered the electrical. I'll put it in the manifold. If I put it in the front I'm going to need a way to make it look pretty
  16. Looks great.....but it does look blue...lol... Good luck this year!!! Steve
  17. Thanks for the input guys, I'm going to go for the electrical gauge! Now does it matter if I put the sending unit in the head or the intake manifold and if I go with the intake manifold should I put it front or back or it doesn't matter? Steve
  18. I have the Auto Meter Ultra Lite oil pressure gauge under the dash now, so I'll get a match for the temperature. I just don't trust the factory gauge, I've had a few issues with it and connections. It's finally working consistantly but it's telling me the cra is running at a constant (what looks to be)160... and with the summer coming I'd rather be sure. Steve
  19. I've always trusted the mechanical temperature gauge over the electrical for whatever reason but I'm thinking of putting an under-dash temperature gauge so I'm looking for opinions. The reason I'm thinking electrical is because typically for a mechanical gauge it has that large sending unit attached and you have to drill a big whole through the fire wall. Now I do have the factory temperature gauge but this is a family site so I won't give my opinion of it....lol Thanks, Steve
  20. Paint the incerts red (maybe a little red tape just to see how that would look)...... They look ok. Steve
  21. He's got a lot of stuff...thanks for sharing......you certainly need to be patient to look through all those pages. Steve
  22. Because it's already done and looks good...just leave it. I vote to leave the wheel well trim on the car too...it looks good. More than likely if you take the wheel well trim off your going to have rub marks under them which will need to get re-painted. My 2 cents, Steve
  23. That is a work of art!!!! Just beautiful..the time, effort and money must be incredible......but the one pic is just a teaser...got more? Steve
  24. Looks great!!!! That's the number one question I get about my car...They all point and ask "what's this"? The best are those who think they know what it is...explain that to whomever their with and get it totally wrong....lol Steve
  25. Congrat's Davey...you just keep getting better!!! Steve
