  1. any oil brand, as long as it's not synthetic.
  2. atco is a nice track- when the pollen are not blowing all over the track. and the bar/ bar maid is cool too. actually we will be there in april for our first Divisional Race for the T/S class. if you guys do rent the track, i'm in. thanh
  3. i can't remember for sure but i believe they are comp cam 7/16 push rods. thanh
  4. i run the m/t drag radial. its very sensitive at the track. on the street, any car with power will smoke any tire, even slicks. so if it was me, i would get a set of slicks for the track and keep your bfg drag radial for the street.
  5. well with the machine work, matching springs to my cam, guides and studs, all came to about $1400.00. still not bad for the power gain and weight lost on the front end. they are not bad if you don't use any of the hardware from procomp.
  6. they are reworked pro comp heads, nothing but the heads themselves are procomp. 320cc intake runner and 115cc combustion chamber. 2.25/1.88 valves. they're goimg on my 496bbc with 12:1compression. custom grind solid roller cam. hope it gets me in the 10's on motor.
  7. are ready to get install, hopefully this week. can't wait to see what they will do. thanh
  8. just a thought. for some of us that could use a 1/4 inch extra clearance on the outside, couldn't they make a thinner block so we can get that clearance? would save $ on new set of rims,
  9. good luck to you two. with the way you guys can tune those cars, should be in front of the camara for sure. thanh
  10. thanks for the replies. i was told that aluminum uses a special head gasket because of the different metals. i'm already running nitrous on my current set up, so i'm good there. wanted to get into the 10s on motor, hence the head change. thanh
  11. for my bbc monte. what head gaskets do you guys recommend? i will be using a 100-150 shot of nitrous. thanks. thanh
  12. any one heard/ uses them? any feed back is appreciated. thanks thanh
  13. Dave. unfortunitely this job thing was keeping me too busy, and the time i did have was spend on the T/S car and crew just to qualify. we got a new 672bbc motor and now we have to relearn the car over as this combo is putting out 1380hp on motor and 2 stages of nitrous at 200 shot each. on paper we are going to run 6.50 @ 230mph+. so the monte is on the back burner. but somebody's got to do it :-) thanh
  14. once you light the second stage bulbs, the other guy has 7 seconds to stage and light his second stage light or gets disqualify, at least that is the rules in Top Sportmans class. That velle is wicked. thanh
  15. Al. long shot here, where is the noise coming from? i had valve springs break and sounds like knocks, what valve springs are you running? single, dual? i broke 4 inner springs and did not know it until 1 started to knock, then i took them all off and that's when i found the other broken springs. like i said maybe a long shot. good luck thanh
  16. not sure what your plans are for the car. i'm running in the low 11's with the stock 12 bolts axles with the c=clip eliminator bearing pressed on kit. i drive it on the street too, no leaking problem. i believe it was a "strange" kit. what ever you do. it is better then the c-clip that's in there now. thanh
  17. yup. tapped and plug mine, alos high volume pump, i use a mobil-1 oil filter for their high burst rating. no problem

    More air

nice job, can she come and take pictures when i go to the track? looks good. thanh
  19. andy. if you still have the pump, i would like to have it, tell me where to sent you the money and shipping address. thanks thanh
  20. Dave. have not run car this year, still under the cover, hopefully by july i will have new time with the nitrous. thanh
