  1. The door bars have to run the way they are to pass at NHRA tech, just depends on the tech offical though, some would pass u, some would not. Its whatever size tubing you have to have. Same as any other bar. I don't know off the top of my head. But the door bars directly would hit the armrest and the door would not shut. Basically to be legal, the bars can't loop around the armres, they have to be the way they are. At my local track, things you can get away with would never fly at an NHRA track.
  2. To be 100% sure of being ok at bigger NHRA tracks, NO ARMREST..oh well. And the bars are run through the package tray. The rear seats will be able to be installed. This setup is goo to 6.49 in the 1/8 mile. I'm thinking 10 in the 1/4
  3. Only too them 2 days. Dropped it off Monday night, got it back Wedneday evening. Labor, Materials everything...6 point. $600 More pics here on myspace. Bottom of page five and on page 6. Also check out the other pics. http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cf...6759&page=5
  4. Roll Bar is done and LOOKS SWEET! I'll post some pics tomorrow.
  5. They would probably delete the parking light area, it would be billet from one side to the other, just like the 70-71 grille. You would then need to do a custom park light aplication, in the headlights, behind grill, or in the bumper.
  6. Yeah, some of that metal NHRA approved PCV pipe. also known as steel tubing.
  7. Can you give me the info on that carb please? part number, cfm? I was told I need atleast an 850 Doublepumper
  8. Dropped the Monte off at JP Automotive Performance and Racing about 5 pm today to install a 6 point roll bar. I'm 18, so no fancy removable door bars, but it will be looped over the back seat through the package tray so the rear seats will be installed. The shop found it very interesting that my car on the street is running 7.40s already with bascially an out of the box 750 Holley DP carb. They said with a different bigger carb, and few more tricks, she'll be knocking 7 flat all motor. Anyway everything is $600 installed including all the materials. The best part...done in 3 days or less.
  9. I guess I better get snappy. I'd say the carb worked well also. Oh and $800 to remove that whole interior and put it back, now I see why it was $800. They done a great job!
  10. They done a nice job.
  11. Thats a nice job Dave. I like the removable part of the bars, makes it easy. $800 just for putting in the bars?
  12. GET IT FROM LEO! keep the little guys alive!

Oh it was good! I wonder who eat my "grill". lol
  15. Yeah and all the other Monte owners abroad!
  16. Can't beat that man, for the price of a U-joint you're good to go!
  17. I got mine from Leo, no problamo here.
  18. $200 sounded a little to good to be true IMO. The Monte grill has the wider peice up top, which makes it look a lot better and worth more than the $200 chevelle grill. I'm very anxious though like everyone else to find out the final price.
  19. $650 yikes, I like the other one a lot better and less $$$.
  20. Thats a good price, by there price I'm sure they'll take less. If you're only gonna have a stock engine, it will be fine. I sank almost $2500 in my 12 bolt...But wer'e talking strong strong stuff.
  21. I don't think anyone has known this till now, but the Coke Machine will be featured in Hot Rod Magazine. See my 2009 Meet album, here along with the pics of the Hot Rod photshoot, and us going around charlotte motor speedway. While many of you were headed home in the AC, we were still melting at Z-Max. http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cf...albumId=1139652
