$10???????????? I'd be going back and get all the rest. Just a side not on the grill that you didn't get, if it ain't broken, bent up or cracked up bad, it can be replated. If its got all the above its good as junk. The grill you bought may can be fixed, but its made out of Pot Metal, and someone with specialy skills has to weld potmetal, and its costly. Then you're looking at a rechome.

A MidWestern Meet has been considered for Mid members in the club. The only thing is finding someone to organize, and so far no one has stepped up to organize. No offense to any mid usa members though, as it takes hours and hours to organize a meet and the last week before the meet is when the most time is spent. Although lots time is also spent throughout the whole process. I didn't keep track of how long it took the 09 eastern meet, but it was a lot. I enjoyed it though, and will do it again in the future. Its a task, especially if you have a busy work schedule, kids, etc.

Monte went a best of 7.669@90MPH in the 1/8 mile I had to let it shift itself, I know I'll pick up another .1 or .2 by shifting myself, the car comes out of 1st gear so quick. Shifting on the column the 1st past embarrassed me. I screwed up lets say. Details to come later.

Suspending you for a year was UNCALLED FOR! But darn what a sleeper! That wouldn't happen at our local 1/8 mile, they just tell you man put a bar in it before you bring it back. Well today is the day, I did get my most important front driveshaft loop installed. I'll let everyone know what happens.

Well its been a few months since I've been. I put on the 750 Double Pumper and got my driveshaft safety loop installed so now its time to go see what she'll do. If I run below a 7.49 ET and they catch me, I'll have to put a Roll Bar in it, thats my goal of course, GET BANNED!

Ditto! Its a good welder thats for sure. The cart its on, thats another story. Message to all...Coke Machine will be in better shape this time at the East Meet than when it was featured in Super Chevy. I told him they need to do an UPDATE Coke machine feature...

It will be interesting to see if the Monte gets a big 40 year bash, or will it be overshadowed by the 40th ann. of the 70 Chevelle.
