  1. 585 Miles for me to Ocean City, MD. No further than PA or Indy, so that wouldn't be to bad. Lets pray gas stays down! I agree, we do not need to go to ANY show where we CANNOT PARK AS A CLUB! That defeats the whole purpose of the "Meet".
  2. Hey Derek, didn't know you were on here. Post some pics of the progress.
  3. Kentucky is north of NC....
  4. Put the 750 on today. AND WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!!!!!!!!!! This is my friend's carb, so he'll get it back later but I'll be getting me one like it.
  5. I know they don't suck, I was pleased with the car for a first few passes. AED? this is my lesson of the day, whats that stand for?
  6. Just went and picked up a friend's 750 Double Pumper that came off of his Malibu Station wagon, with a 400 SB that ran 7.3 with this carb. I'm gonna stick it on the Monte and see what she does, probably go back to the track with it soon. The last time at the track, almost 2 months ago now I made it down to a 8.01@89MPH with one pass being 90MPH but a little slower et, this time I opened the Headers, still major bogging off the line. Losing close to a second right there on the line. If this Carb works well, I'll take my 870 vaccum secondary(not a double pumper) and have it modified to be a Double Pumper. Timing is LOCKED OUT at 36 Degrees. Also will be getting a line Lock real soon, and adding Electric Fans, and need to install my Drive shaft loops this week. Then according to the ET it runs, may be looking at Roll Bars to be legal. Lots to do, plenty of Time with summer off and Not enough Money!
  7. The Daytona Turkey Run would be awesome but its in November. Really to late for an Eastern Meet.
  8. I really like those Valve Covers
  9. PERTY! I like all the polished aluminum accesories.
  10. Thats a sweet ride. Its came a long way...
  11. Maybe go back to a Super Chevy Show?
  12. I done that to my car about 3 years ago replacing all the trim, the week before the 06 Meet in Bristol, I tore my arm to heck, as I didn't take the inner fender out, and I only unbolted the fenders at the bottom. PAIN PAIN PAIN!!! errrr I succeeded after cutting my arm to heck.
  13. I think this was the 1st Red Lines I'd seen on a Monte, but I think they look great also.
  14. It needs some horseshoe bezels. lol
  15. This sucks, I was hoping that driveshaft would work. Atleast the 70's engine compartment is done. I didn't know what was going on under the coke machine on saturday. i was asked to push the clutch in, then proceeded to hear screaming, moaning, groaning, whining, etc, etc.
  16. I have to come up with something to wear this year, I've been a party pooper on the past 70s nights. lol
  17. Its been 20 years now, since it happend but I have saw several stories of cars being returned to their original owner after 30+ years.
  18. Nice 67. Those are my favorite chevelles...66-67. I like the Saddle Tan interior. Nice car all around!
  19. Yeah, ditto. Leo's own fender patch panels are the best I've heard. Or if you're a cheapskate chisler like Kevin, and me, take your time and do the patch yourself, fabbing YOUR OWN patch panel out of sheetmetal using the framing of the garage to bend a shape the panel. True story.
