Very cool π€Glad to see a first gen at the track ! Enjoy the track time, not that Cecil is going anywhere but local tracks are closing left and right π‘

As Aaron said, and it's what I thought I remembered, no end caps and no bottom piece trim on the seats.
-
I ordered mine from SS396.COM , package had trim for both seats and end caps.

Don't hold me to that time limit, I'll lose every time π€£ I had to wait till I replied a little so I could finish my first cup of coffee, otherwise DT / the grammar/spelling police would be pointing out my errors π€£ Nothing wrong with "nudging" people to become dues paying members, it's what keeps this crazy train rolling down the tracks. In closing, "blunt at times" ...................maybe, and I mean MAYBE in the forums............never in person π€£

I didnt put the end caps on mine, at least I can't take another hit on the modifications points π€£ But I did add the lower piece and I thought that might not be "original" I just wanted the look.

What did you do to your Monte Carlo today?
DragCat replied to Canuck's topic in General 70-72 Monte Carlo Forum
Well it was in the 70's today and I almost pulled the car cover off and took it off the jack stands but . .......... I was a responsible adult and got the chain saws ready to walk the fence lines this weekend and cut up the trees and limbs that fell over the winter π Maybe next week -
Ok, maybe I'm just old school but this irks me. 48 hours and no reply to the answers that were posted to the question. People take the time to respond and try to help and then its crickets π²

I would have never known Willie until the subject was brought up π€£ Always learning around here -
46.2 out the door, then add transport and taxes when you get it home. Nice but too much coin IMHO

We need him to put the corvette out to pasture for the next Monte project. He's got to much lazy boy time these days π€£

The main reason I even watch the show is the fab shop guys. While I do appreciate the paint and body work it doesn't interest me one bit, can't do it not interested. I can't do the fab work either but its interesting

Also the forum search feature, altho sometimes a tad bit extensive has lots of info/experiences of what people have gone through with stock and upgrades on their Monte's -
I'm sure you were glued to the TV last night NOT π€£

Just like tools, if you dig down deep enough most are made in the same plants just different logo's π
