  1. I had new PUI door panels on the car when I first got it (prior owner put them on). I needed rears anyways, so had Legendary do all of them. Glad I did, the PUI quality was about 50% of Legendary.
  2. They did mine, front & rears. Call them up. Here is a Monte specific catalog too. That's my interior on the cover of that catalog actually. Page D11 has door panels. https://www.legendaryautointeriors.com/cdn/shop/files/2024_Monte_Carlo_Catalog.pdf?v=16300282680525283320 https://www.legendaryautointeriors.com/products/prcataloglail-monte
  3. I'm on a retirees income now. I eat dog food..... 'Old Roy's', not even the good stuff...
  4. I don't have that. Just a heavy right foot.
  5. Cleaning the old rubber off the tires so it's not so slippery/dangerous. ---- OR----- This is in the other building.
  6. As Dennis said, for the tire sizes you have Dave, at all 4 corners, I'd probably run 32 psi as well. My other cars that have bigger/wider tires in the back, I'll usually run those around 24-26. That's based on doing a couple burnouts to see if the contact patch is even.
  7. I got a set from the Parts Place, I think. I'll look and see if I can find a part number. They fit fine on my car. EDIT: This is from my original invoice 8.17.2019: 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SAIL PANEL EMBLEM (MONTE CARLO) - EM1679M $19.00 2 $38.00 and here is a current link to their site: https://www.thepartsplaceinc.com/product/1971/1971-chevrolet-monte-carlo-sail-panel-emblem-monte-carlo-gm-8798374-ea/4639
  8. Oh, I suppose it makes more sense if I include what Dave had available, to show what we were working with. Maybe what I posted above would make more sense then.
  9. That's just pretty much a RPO code list Dan. Dave was looking to find out what the individual boxes meant, though the last post of the forum link does explain those in some detail. The decoder disc I bought explains what some of those codes are, and a lot of other good stuff as well. Keep in mind, it says 1970 SS Chevelle only, but some things did cross over on Dave's sheet. The decoder breaks it down between the different plants too. I emailed the creator of the disc last night because it said there was an update to the one I had. He responded quickly and said it was just a couple of things that really didn't matter. I mentioned we're mainly Monte people here, etc. He did actually send me an Excel spread sheet of some Monte build sheet data he had, but for the most part it doesn't seem that comprehensive, just stuff he transcribed from sheets he had collected, and put in one place. It does cover 70-72, and SS & Customs though, but as said, I didn't see near as much detail as what's posted below. I still need to scrutinize it a bit more though. Pretty generous of him to send it to me though, that's customer service at its finest. Here's a couple screen shots.
  10. Congratulations Greg, and thank you for your continued support!
  11. Update: Dave & I talked on the phone and were able to decode as much as possible, with what was available, and not Chevelle specific.
  12. I bought the $50 disc from one of the guys who is listed on those sites. It is specific to the 70 SS Chevelle, but there is still a LOT of good info there. I'll give you a call Dave to see if I can help. https://chevellecd.net/products/cds/bs_decoder.htm
  13. What does it say in the lower part of the sheet, where the N33 was, anything about steering wheel? The build sheet on my old Custom shows N33 and NK4 listed below, but in the STRG. WHL. box up above it says '125', which means nothing to me. Granted, two different plants, different years, etc, but I wouldn't get hung up on what the upper boxes say, at least at this point. Lot of info about GM wheels here too: http://www.camaros.org/swheel.shtml
  14. In the GM Heritage Package info, they call the N33 a 'Comfortilt' wheel, the other one was NK1-Cushioned Rim Steering Wheel
  15. Thank you! I initially did it with the horn cap for the NK4 wheel. I had planned to further modify that one by making a mold of the insert, use clear acrylic and embed the hat pin, etc., but that never happened.
  16. I remember when I placed my very first post, another member, '714024Speed' (Kevin Ferrante) said this about the dark saddle interior, made me laugh at the time: The dark saddle interior grows on you, when I first got my 72 I was not in love with the color, but now I'm in like with it. lol
  17. Factory Monte insert would be way too big. The hat pin is only about an inch wide. Thanks on the interior, Legendary did the upholstery, I put the Dakota Digital dash in, Custom Autosound 740 radio, & new carpets, etc. The HVAC control is the original GM A/C panel though.
  18. I made it. Milled off the Chevy emblem, then modified a Monte hat pin to go in its place.
  19. I put the black rimmed wheel in mine and modified the horn button with a "Monte' hat pin. I'm pretty happy with that wheel over the 4 spoke NK4 wheel I had in there.
  20. First, please re-post the last 2 pics. I screwed up. Next, I understand you saw them work, but to get the correct diagrams, we need to get the correct info. There are at least 7 different possible RPO codes associated with the power seats in a CTS, and different modules involved also. Example, codes: A45, W2E,AH8,AL2,AQ9, KA1,KB6, all play a part in getting the right diagram. Did you see them work in the donor car itself? Such things as memory, heated, cooled (just fans), lumbar, all make a difference.
  21. I'll look in Gm eSi to see if I can find some schematics. Give me a little time. Do you know anything else about the donor seats? 2 or 4 door, etc? Take pictures of all the switches, connectors and modules too. There are a LOT of things that'll come into play here. If you know what car they came from, a pic of the RPO code tag would help, or a VIN from it, as I could look up the vehicle build sheet/options direct thru GM service info.
  22. Not my dad, I was the one with the 70's porn star moustache & glasses for a fair amount of years, lol
