Maybe I need to look at the list. I know I wanted the soft seals and the felt. the rest I would say is rubbers and bumpers. The plan is to remove the doorsbcleannup the jambs and reassemble. removing all the chrome and seals possible. so with that I am trying to determine what is best.

is a substantial kit I believe, i just dont want to sink that kind of money on an inferior kit.

I saw this kit, but it doesnt have all the seals and rubber that I need. I think that kit has the seals for the lights and the door handle and lock. I need window seals also.

I did see the soft seal paint kit. it is one I had in mind. do you feel the quality is close to original?. Did it come with weather stripping glue.?

going to repaint the monte and was wondering what seal kits have you used. Company, brands, mix and match, looking for some ideas and knowledge.

I think Massapequa had the car show. Wantgh had Mulcaheys. When I lived there Rosevelt Field was still open. I might plan a trip around Hershey, Super Chevy to visit. -

i want to remove the doors on a 1970 Monte that has Power Windows and Power locks. What needs to be done. Does the harness remove easy and is there any rivets that need drilling. The goal to get the car ready for paint. will be removing the doors and fixing the door hinges or replacing them. any thing else I should look for when the door is removed? Door seals maybe window seals?

I would go over your grounds again. not sure on your vehicle did you have a ground strap that went to your firewall. did you clean paint off mating surface. also check you voltage at the alternator and the battery with an analog meter if you have one. see if it pulses also.
