Me either but even a squirrel finds a nut once in a while.

I will add a picture of the label as it is on the back. Made in Taiwan I don’t think Amd has anything anymore. I looked awhile ago and none of the parts players had anything. It was all on factory backorder.

You’re welcome Tom. It’s what we do. Probably about time I contribute something useful.

I have my original 71 fender in the shed. I’ll dig it out tomorrow. The previous owner has it already cut for a new patch.

Take the outlet cover off , short the screws on the side, recover and go find out what doesn’t work. I used that method for years. Hmmm. Does explain a few things?!? lol.

I sent Leo a message before I bought the first set. No response.

I know that I’m not a body guy but I like them. So much in fact I just order two more of each. lol.

I left everything out. So if you guys want different pictures let me know before Karen gets home. lol. ( it’s all in the bedroom).

Got them yesterday. I’m pretty impressed. I lined them up with the other patch panel and a nos 70 fender. Critics welcome. This is for most all of us. Let’s figure out what’s wrong and right.

Don’t feel bad Willie, Karen drives a Subaru. And before you guys start , she is NOT a multi colored flag person. lol.

Yes but don’t tell anyone

Totally makes sense now. I have seen the error of my ways. My apologies Bob. If I did things to my 71 I would go back to my restoration thread also.
-
Thanks Willie, now I feel bad. Maybe that’s the swift kick in the rump I need to actually do something with this thing.

They look good. But I have to ask, just out of curiosity, why are you posting this in the archive section and on a nine year old post. Wouldn’t you be best suited to put this in the current restoration section? Like I said just curious.

I’ve not seen this type before. Could look good and be tinfoil. We’re gonna find out.

Not gonna happen. lol. Joe and I had a CONVERSATION today and we were discussing lazy. He fell asleep and I got nothing done. So again, not gonna happen. lol. I’m still shooting for 27 though. lol. 😂

Yes I did. But that’s ok. Scott is now on the payback list. lol. ( don’t worry Scott it doesn’t take alot of my time 😂).

I’ve used autolite. That are the same as motorcraft. But I put them in fords.

Most everyone knows what I do for my job. Believe it or not this is not an uncommon thing. A guy tried to warranty a battery because the terminal was crushed into the case. He told the dealer the cable wouldn’t fit so he was hitting it with a hammer to get it on. The plastic cover was still on the terminal. Some people.

It’s very important to all of us. Nobody wants a vin issue. Especially when purchasing a car. Verifying documentation is not easy with the technology out there to create fraudulent paperwork. Due diligence is key and ask people that knows a lot of questions.
