  1. So sad. What a tragedy. Too bad they shot the suspect.
  2. Got mine done. Rain every day coming up.
  3. Watch shipping charges too. Extremely high.
  4. The link you posted states it’s not for your car.
  5. Welcome Curtis. Great group here. Most likely you can just replace the pin and bushings. If you open the door all the way and have someone move the door up and down you should be able to look and see exactly where it’s moving. If the bushings have been gone for awhile the holes in the hinge will be hogged out. Then you will need hinges. Pin and bushing kits are readily accessible.
  6. I got two cuts in so far. But you’d never be able to tell. I don’t see another coming anytime soon as we are in the ending stage of 3 plus inches of rain.
  7. If they wash them off to the side of the canopy, we can call it a training seminar. Eat that “other” group. 😆
  8. Yes. Floor or column shift. I cannot say for sure on a 4 speed (or 3 speed) but I would assume so. It was installed for safety and security. I was all part of the plan when the ignition key was moved from the dash to the column.
  9. If you don’t have one but are looking, you can have some “class”too.
  10. The guy who wrote that has no “class”.
  11. That is true. My 70SS has some 69 dated parts even though it was “ born” April
  12. Probably easier from under the drivers side. The rod connects to the steering column and has a locking ( with a bolt) slider on the rod. Loosen the bolt a little bit and push the rod to the column up and tighten the bolt. You should be able to see how much it moved by the lack of surface rust on the rod.
  13. Not in production but probably in development, does that count? lol
  14. How do you do that? Not for me. lol.
  15. Both of your issues could be related to the cable being out of adjustment. Adjustment or new shift cable ( if stretched) should correct both the constant shifter and the shift collar on the column.
  16. I know what you mean Willie. I haven’t even pulled the cover off the 71 yet. And I don’t see it happening anytime soon. ☹️
  17. Headers on anything for that matter.
  18. Absolutely correct. If you can, and want to, post some pictures of your paperwork we are always looking for any type of verification for Flint built cars. My 70SS is Flint built and I have nothing it a matching vin on the engine and transmission
  19. Nope I said I’d stop.
