A "Subie"....... As my brother in law likes to be called.
  2. Same here..... I guess that makes sense, but sharing a breaker between the kitchen and the basement bathroom was a bit of a head scratch.
  3. Ah.... Don't be embarrassed.... We've all heard it at least once........Usually the first time.
  4. It's the application of "new" technology to a tried and true system..... Always makes a mess of things.
  5. Don't laugh..... I've actually had to defer to this method a couple times to figure out what powered what in my house. I guess the electricians who did the original wiring had a sense of humour ???
  6. Being a fan of most Bosch products, I wasn't impressed with their spark plugs either...... Or the Splitfire plugs. They never held up the the hype.
  7. Funny..... That's exactly what SHE said.
  8. Mind you, I'm also using an Accel Supercoil on an H.E.I. distributor, so you have to be mindful of what spark source you're using.
  9. I like the "shorter" NGK plugs just for header clearance and the Pertronix wires for the smaller boot ends at the plugs.
  10. In the mid '80's Buick and Oldsmobile used an electric brake pump on their T-Types, Grand Nationals, and Vista Cruisers...... I always wondered if they could be fitted into other G.M. cars.
  11. Waste not... Want not.... If G.M. had parts left over from a previous year that fit, I'd imagine they'd do something like that.

Didn't Richard Petty run one in NASCAR ?
  13. Naw...... It's a whole different experience once that sticker arrives in the mail...

Had a '76 Grand Prix SJ with a 400 cid and all the options back in the day....... Wonderful highway cruiser. It always felt safe to ride in.
  15. Watch out Zachary !!!!! Once you've joined FGMCC, your hooked !!
  16. The sun has finally made an appearance, and already the snow's melting !!!
  17. Hey Steve, all opinions are welcome. I had a friend years ago that lost his newly purchased car because it had been stolen in another province and shuffled through the system. It took about a month after he bought it (privately) for the paperwork to catch up, and when it did, all he could do was say goodbye to both the car and the money he spent. That's why I'm curious as to my situation...
  18. That looks familiar !!! lol Went from dry and dusty here last Tuesday to about 14-15 inches of snow here (so far) ....... It's still coming down.
  19. I tried one of the K&N oil filters...... But didn't really see any difference than the filters that cost half as much. Giving Fram a try this go round.
  20. Up here in the Great Cold North they do love their paperwork.
  21. Most gauge kits come with a couple different coloured rubber like boots to put on the light. I've even seen one manufacturer sell just the boots...... Think it was on Amazon.
  22. Hello.... I'll be your waiter tonight.
  23. Hmmm..... Let 20 Monte fanatics tear Montelishi apart.......???? Are you sure you don't work for border security ????
  24. It's more of a curiousity thing at this point..... I bought it from a legitimate, reputable dealership and had the title cleared, so I'm thinking I'm pretty safe.
