  1. Yes we did, and since then, I've done a title search using both the "B" and "F" versions of the VIN. Strangely, they both come back as the same car.... Colour, vinyl top, interior, drive train..... I've tried looking under the heater box, but no luck yet. I'm just wondering if a past owner went to all the trouble of finding two fairly identical cars that were damaged and made one out of them ???? Stranger things have happened.....
  2. The doors have been repainted a couple times, so the blue tag is long gone, and I still haven't gotten around to pulling the back seat up yet.... It's only been 5 years since I got her.
  3. That's what I was thinking....
  4. Is that why so many old cars are going south ???
  5. But the plant numbers should match.... No ?
  6. With the ice cream truck jingle playing on the 8 track ???? lol
  7. You can even get green lights for aftermarket gauges......
  8. Lyle, I can tell you that the front belts have the smaller buckles, if that helps.
  9. I was wondering if, because mine does have a part #, that if it isn't a replacement..... My v.i.n. says it's a Flint car, but my body tag says it's a Baltimore car. But when I run the numbers through the search services, they both come back as the same car. Maybe someone stamped the wrong number on the v.i.n. ????
  10. If I remember correctly, there was an Oak version available, but I can't remember what it was available in....
  11. Had a '77 Silverado for those events..... Better view of the screen and longer bench.
  12. There is an "original" G.M. part # on my tag #39654(8 or 6)5. Not sure who would stamp it to make it correct though.
  13. Looks like somebody loved....(or got loved) in them.
  14. Hey David, Joe and Rob probably have one somewhere, but I found one on the ChevelleStuff.com site. If you go to ChevelleStuff.net/1970/options by model.htm. and open the 1970 Chevelle/Monte Carlo Regular Production page, you should find what you're looking for. Hope that helps, Scott.
  15. As Kermit said..... It ain't easy being green.
  16. A dollar in the bar bathroom vending machine is worth every penny.
  17. Nothing wrong with trying to save money..... It's just that some used/cheap parts wind up costing more in the end.
  18. Just to elaborate on cny's point....
  19. And here I thought it was because your easy chair wasn't in the garage.....
  20. Yes, nice starter for someone who enjoys tinkering..... Like the colour.
  21. Always got to love other people's attempts at rewiring..... And you wonder where rats get the idea for nests. LOL
  22. But he is pissed about the price of chips and ice cream...... 🍨
  23. It ain't easy being green..... lol Is $200.00 usd the going rate for a good battery these days ??? I paid $120.00 cdn for an Interstate last fall, and that was the second highest they carried.
  24. I'm trying the Interstate version.... Green car, green battery. lol I pull the battery for the winter months and charge it every now and then. It's down in the basement in a nice, warm spot.
  25. But the best part is the nurse administering the test.
