  1. I have one that has Chevelle, Monte Carlo SS center section that I believe just shows the plug for the cluster have to look this weekend for it.
  2. It's been a busy weekend around the garage. Slide the go jacks under the rear of the 72 so we could get the rear end center and get the car in the center of the garage floor One side of the exhaust nice and level the floor and frame Other side not so much level [img[https://scontent-iad3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/13612177_1222460947788876_4803814732682511476_n.jpg?oh=62f817321d22c0d495e871a1532a25a8&oe=5816C7C3[/img] exhaust stays tight to the floor and follows the frame out the back. Did a little more work on one of the outside mirror looks good for being from a wrong year car And finished up the console in the 72
  3. What type of trans are you running? I know with a 700r4 the TV cable has to have to correct PSI on it or it'll burn up. Do you know what your trans temp and how hot is your motor running? My big block runs roughly 210-220° while the trans stays at 190°. I'm using the built in trans cooler that goes out to an external cooler then back to a 700r4. When the elec fans kick on it pulls air through the trans cooler and the radiator.
  4. Spoony here is my old wheels 16x6 with 4.5" backspacing with the 255/50/16 on the front 16x7 with 4" back spacing same size tire. Here is one of the side pictures of the 16's
  5. Stock montes had 15x7. The 255/50 I had looked good it was a low profile tire that the tire place hated putting on.
  6. Adding some trim to the tail light extension with the overcast day the color was just red couldn't see the slight tint in color.
  7. Been busy doing floor pans for Anthony (Royals71) this weekend
  8. Ryan this is what we did with the fuel cell in the 72 It sets in a metal box that's welded to a tube frame that runs frame rail to frame rail
  9. Just looked at what I have and both are 70 hoods.
  10. I believe they are base on the location of the sprayers. 71-72 come out in the grill area on the hood. I can grab some pictures later today between a 70 and 71(72 will be the same as the 71).
  11. On a 70 the sprayers mount at the rear of the hood under the hood seal. The hoses run though the cowl and come out the holes on top of the cowl.
  12. No first gen had swivel buckets. First gen had regular bucket seats like those in a Chevelle.
  13. There is a couple things that could be done differently. 1 being since you need a press to put the bushing and ball joints in, you could by arms already done with new bushings and ball joints or spin $495 for all four and tubular style. Little over $550 for coil overs (which is a nice way to go). Or maybe buy a set of like new coils and shocks (have both items that came out of a big block application).
  14. Glen question if you move the jack stand under the rear end will the angle of the control arm change? Right now it looks like your suspension is fully extended and I know they want the weight off the compounds when adjusting. I saw where you are 25" with the coil overs and want atleast one more 1" are you looking for 24" or 26"? I have 26" on my 70 with just lowering springs and a 26" tall tire, the other one sits at 26.5" with its adjustable coil over and a 33" tall tire it can go down maybe 2" more.
  15. Spoony I had 16x8 with 4.5" back spacing on the rear of my 70 with 255/50 which fit fine. I even had the 255/50 on the front with 16x7 with 4" back spacing
  16. Yes a th350 will bolt to a Big Block. Its when you get the BOP style trans you have to be careful of.
  17. Lay some final color on the tail light extension today and must say the color turned out great for just throwing two items together. In the sun you can see all the metal flake and a hint of copper in the dark red paint.
  18. Did some color on the tail light extension. it looks almost like a candy ready and it's no ware close to the red paint that we used on a truck door a few again and it's no ware close to the test panel With a little trim on starting to look like a nice color mix
  19. Still playing with colors this is Summit Racing 2.8 VOC single stage black cherry pearl that has some dry copper penny pearl mixed in the paint. shade gives it the black/purple look on both a black primer area and a gray primer area. Then in the sun it pops to life maybe tomorrow it can get some more sun on it to get a better ideal. It does have flake in it.
  20. That gray wire is your dash lights. If that wire is cut you will not have any cluster lights or a/c control panel lights.
  21. Those might have came out of a Camaro this one looks like one you have Chris its for a 68-69 Carmaro.
  22. Is that wire going off the amp gauge going to the grounding plate for the headlight? if so it shouldn't be there. If you can provide the colors on the plug for the cluster I can verify what they are. Looking at the plug the one that is broken looks to be a dark blue so it might be oil pressure. The AMP wires black and black with a white stripe.
  23. It looks like someone was planing a manual trans swap that why you have the rectangle hole floor piece. Looking at your brake pedal the car was originally an auto as a manual pedal would be a smaller. You will need to weld the first place as the floor shifter sits on it.
  24. Those are the right shifters Chris. The picture Dennis post is a aftermarket dent plate on his shifter. The two plug one under the other is the backup lights and the terminals side by side is the NSS part of the switch.
  25. Those are the right shifter 68-72 is the same. I don't see the front plug which are for the back up lights unless its a bad angle for the picture. You should be able to buy the NSS/backup switch.
