  1. Is the yoke on the driveshaft used on a th350 the same as what's used on a th400? Different spline?
  2. Possible to take a pic of it?
  3. Are you sure it's the ac line? Could it be a heater hose going to the heater core? If your ac is leaking, chances are you have to replace the lines. It should be under pressure so there aren't any methods to patching the line.
  4. Thanks for letting me know! Didn't realize the DS tube would interfere.
  5. Looks nice! I do have to mention that I have not seen a set of headers with a gap in the mounting flange like that.
  6. Currently a BFG 8800 GT OC though apparently on my motherboard ATI is the goto card. I havent had a chance to test it yet. If it doesnt go well I may have to get a new card. I was running SLI but the card spacing on this board is twice as far so I cant use the SLI bridge. From what I checked, you cant use the crossfire bridge.
  7. Been waiting about a week to put it together. AMD Phenom II 1090T 6 Core processor Asus Crosshair IV Formula 8GB Kingston DDR3 1600MHZ Ram Windows 7 Pro 64bit Runs great! Excited to get through the testing and wire management to test some games. To those that read most of this as greek, it is the equivalent to replacing a small block with a big block.
  8. I love that movie car. Wish mine looked like that and sounded like that too! Such a mean stance. Can you get tires like they had in the movie? Arent they nascar tires?
  9. How do you know it's an 8.2? I'm trying to find what I have.
  10. The question now is what size carrier do I need? Is the stock size 8.2 or 8.5?
  11. Lol that's why I was asking what stock rear carrier I have. 8.2 or 8.5? I see new posi units for less than $700 so that's good.
  12. Complete rear end as pulled from a monte.
  13. Ok I was looking up posi units but I'm not sure which is mine. 8.2, 9.5, 10.5? Stock 10 bolt. Car was a 350 2bbl.
  14. I see a rear end 10 bold posi 3:42 for sale used locally for $700. Do I buy that go through it and install or do I take my open rear 10 bolt 2:83 and make that a posi? The one installed now is leaking at the front seal so will most likely have to come out anyways. Opinions?

    fast

I have to do the same thing. I've been outing off reformatting my rig for quite some time now. In 3 years ive gone from a 30 second start to 5 mintues. 10 if you count the fact I have to restart once from a cold boot or it will lock up. I just have SO much stuff on my drives. 1tb drive 60% full with a 160gb 70% full. And my NAS is 1tb and that's full.
  16. Maybe it has something to do with the car wanting its pound of flesh while we skin it of theirs...
  17. Those look nice. They are for straight plug type heads. Are our heads mostly like that or are they angled?
  18. MY ISP is not far from where I live. Less than 2 kilometers. Maybe my electrons move so quick because at the end of every night they get a deep massage.
  19. Looks like I have the lowest ping. At least thats something.
  20. I would think that many of those errors are manufactured to worry people into buying software.
  21. The big B is megabyte. The little b is megabit. One MB is equal to eight Mb. So to use an average 13.3MB, you have a speed of 1.66Mb/second. Us Canadian folk do not get your fast speeds. You pay a premium just to get 9MB in some cases. I pay more than $50 for 6MB download and 350KB or .35MB upload. You fancy people and your fancy internets....grumble grumble grumble....
  22. Glad you got it figured out.
  23. Thats something I have never tried. There is no usb port on the wireless N one I am using so you cant use that one.
  24. I still have my old linsys 4 port router non wireless that works great with everything I have ever hooked up to it. I plan on using it to make a home network between my computer and my ps3 for music/movie watching and the odd friend coming over possibly to game. My new linksys 4 port wireless n router was not as easy when I first got it but I think a lot of that was due to network adapters and faulty firmware. Used to overheat on a daily basis. Personally I would get rid of the netgear and try either linksys or dlink. Both good brands with Dlink I think being a bit better as linksys quality is a bit more questionable compared to years past.
