Hey Wade, This number you just put up is also a good number 6263664 that's what i have for the 72 that i just/almost finished. lol As far as them interchanging (please someone chime in if i am wrong) yes they do, all 3 years should interchange. However for the 70 they have different rad supports and also different fenders. 71 and 72 rad supports and fenders are interchangeable. Hope someone here jumps in and helps with the dates, I checked all the books that i have and not one of the books say anything about the frame codes. P.S. i will tell him to get ready for some football!!!! Not sure if he is a big football fan or not though. lol

Hey Wade, Welcome to the club!!!! An associate from work is planning on moving down by you somewhere. He said he needs more room and less taxes. His wife (who has already moved) raises horses and dogs. Smart, saving 15k a year just on the taxes he said. I am not an expert on this but because i was in the garage today i checked. Hopefully someone who knows can chime in and confirm The 3990562 is the part number same as mine looks like you have a 350 after it, i have 351 you have 32 and i have 916 we both have C1 CM What is your build date, they might need that? Mine is 1/4/71 I dont know how to break it down, so maybe someone else can help with the rest? I will check my books tomm and maybe get lucky to figure the rest out.

Hello Willie! Thank you. The car was stolen in Chicago at that time that is where we lived. We have been in FL since 2003. We do have a full plate but the family all lives back in IL so I have plenty of time for fun/hobbies. The reason i ask is i have a parts car that fits that description but picked it up from another member in NC. I have had it for about 10 years already.

Thanks Again guys. Just trying to put these pieces together. It's nice for everything to fall into place when you are not sure or in my case did not know. It's always much better to get taught so you know for the next one. (that's a lot of b/s i will forget again by then and will be asking here again) lol It's pretty cool with this car though, it has a readable Build Sheet, a P O P, some other paperwork, but most of all its a true "SS". I just reread Dennis's post, and if the rear end is correct that means something is fishy? If she was built 1/71 (door sticker) How could the rear be built on the 223 day of 1971? Maybe 1970?

I should have stated this one is a 71SS Glenn (my fault) The build date is 1/71 from door sticker (no longer there) On the B/S i have a few different places that might have the correct date, in box 10) 01 01-04?? in boxes 5&6) 1 3 13 1A?? and bottom right side box108) 1-3-13- ?? The Vin number is really close to these numbers, so who knows (131139) Is there any other place i can look for the exact date she was born???? Thanks again guys for all the help, You certainly learn something new here every day!!!

More crazy questions from me, looking at my build sheet, checking the rear end codes, and the radio codes 1) the B/S says RUC223 C the rear end has RUC223 A 2) the B/S says UMI radio am&tpe Why does the B/S say C and the rear have A on it???? Is the radio only am and tape or am/fm tape????? I tried to check the codes and it says nothing about that last "C" or "A" Thanks for the help guys
