  1. Local swap meet, are usually good, or one of the larger supply houses. If you strike out, any of the Chevelle supply houses should have it. I use and like The Parts Place for the majority of my needed parts.
  2. Very nice. It probably looks black at night too. Enjoy !!!
  3. Congrats on your award and welcome. The Eastern Meet at Carlisle is a special show. Where else do you get the opportunity to be in a show with 30-40 or more First Generation Monte Carlo's and their proud owners? It's a great time and a lot of fun. It the best show you'll attend all year.
  4. PM him. I have a set of Larry's brackets on my 70 SS. They are very well made and an excellent quality product. He is a fellow FGMCC member, a gentleman, and is very easy to deal with. If your a purist, good luck trying to find them. This is the best possible alternative if your looking to mount your compressor.
  5. Some better, full line hardware stores carry Bon Ami. It is also available on line.
  6. Rod's exploded view and bruce's photos are great info. Thank you for sharing.
  7. Sorry, someone was not doing their job properly to manage your pain. Another step forward in the process of you getting back to normal. I hope your feeling better everyday, and WE ALL hope to see you and Pat at the upcoming Eastern Meet in 2013.

  12. Rob, Thanks for the update. Remember, one day at a time. Prayers are continuing for you and your family. Hopefully you will be out sooner than later, but go with what the Dr's want. You are focused and that will help you get on your feet and back to your daily events sooner than later. Keep up the good work and stay focused. I'm glad to hear your making good progress. Regards, CK
  13. Rob, Sorry to hear you have to go under the knife. But, hopeful this will remedy your blockage, kidney issues and hopefully your infection too. I hope your feeling and doing better soon. Many prayers continuing for you and your family.
  14. Dan, Any updates on Rob ? I hope he is feeling and doing better.
  15. Mike, Good luck with trying to correct this issue. I hope it will be hassel free the rest of the way. Please keep us updated. I saw Greg the other day and finally gave him the hitch. He was very happy with it. CK
  16. Apparently someone is home and feeling better !!! Glad to see you back on the boards and hope you are feeling better. I wish you a smooth recovery. Rob, Welcome home and back to your FGMCC Family !!!
  17. I have a Monte SS with a stock 454. I have no issues cooling with the factory setup, even while running the AC on hot days. I have noticed it runs even cooler after adding the FGMCC radiator cover that fills the void between the grill and radiator support. I believe it creates a more direct airflow thru the radiator, making the radiator more efficient. Although I have the factory gauges, it has dropped 1 line from where it used to run without the cover, approximately 190'F to 180'F and the AC is blowing colder. I have not recharged the AC since installing the cover.
  18. Awesome !!! Congrats Rob. We hope you get out and get back home, where you belong. I'm sure some fresh air and a change of scenery will do you good. Our best wishes for you, CK
  19. Congrats on your continued forward progress and very soon being able to get out of the hospital and back home. Our family wishes you a smooth and speedy recovery. You and your family are in our daily prayers and thoughts. CK

  22. Dan, Thank you for keeping us informed on Rob's issues and progress. I am sorry to hear about the passing of your Aunt. Great news about Rob being off the vent. That is HUGE progress. Althought the game has now changed medically, I hope Rob is more comfortable and pain free. I'm sure the hospital is doing it's best to get Rob back on his feet ASAP. Our thoughts and prayers will continue and let him know he has a lot of people cheering for him and his family. Regards, CK
