  1. Errrrr! I wish I knew a few days ago, I would have purchased it from you. My goodies came in the mail 3 days ago! I have to say that Modern Chevy has the best price and fast shipping. Thank you all for your input. I am very happy with it all.
  2. Hey Marc, Look at you right next door to me!
  3. Did you use the 3M super 77 Jack?
  4. Hope you went for the Headman ones over the KMJ ones on ebay. Remember KMJ stands for Krap Made from Junk! Link to KMJ reviews Good Luck Steve!
  5. Jim, Was the top from Modern Chevy also? Originally Posted By: 7tonemonte Same here with the CarsInc cloth covers. Id have to say thier vinyl would be the same quality! My covers are from CARSINC too and they're great, although I must say, I've not once been disappointed in anything I've gotten from Modern Chevy/Oldmusclecars. Does Leo deal in seat covers/tops? Thanks Daryl And thanks everyone else on the info. Sounds like Modern Chevy is the way to go and they are cheaper.
  6. I am looking for a new rear seat cover and vinyl top. Any of the following I should stay away from or is one better than the other? Vinyl Top. 7. I wonder what the price difference is between adding a rear disk kit and having that rear end cut down to size with new axles.
  8. I almost did the same thing when I saw this for sale. http://providence.craigslist.org/pts/2147802395.html Sounds like a good deal! I also looked at this book in B&N. Had lots of info in it. Cheap money too. http://www.amazon.com/Swap-Engines-Almost-Anything-Design/dp/1932494812 Good luck with the project. Can't wait to see it.
  9. Sounds great! Thanks everyone for all the info. I guess I have a lot of reading to do now. Now I need to figure out where to put the car when I get it.
  10. Hi all, I am looking to do a new SB and 700R4 for the Monte and have an opportunity to get a complete donor vehicle to work from. Its an 87 Corvette 130k mi on it with stock aluminum heads that I can get for under 2k. I was thinking about transplanting the L98 TPI and trans into the Monte after a rebuild on both. I am looking to do the motor between 350 and 400 HP and would like to keep the TPI on it. Is it possible to make that kind of HP with the stock TPI? Would I have to change the gas tank? Should I use the factory harness and ECM? Or should I stick to my original plan of a new ZZ4 and 700R4? Thanks everyone!
  11. Holy moly that trucks fast. I like it but I have the Tahoe and the wife has the Trail Blazer. My Tahoe would get a ProCharger before she does. Nice job and welcome to the group Steve!
  12. What a great looking bunch of Montes!
  13. Nice job Aaron and Dave. Looks like you guys had a good turnout.
  14. Very cool Jared. Looks like you got some good video of my decals. That was a fun event! Is it almost time for the 2011 EM?
  15. Found under the rear seat
  16. Nice job Ian! That is fast. Can you do something with my Monte's 350 also?
  17. That sounds cool. You could do your own if you have 65k. Doh. This guy makes a SBC v12 http://www.falconerengines.com/app/v12_app_1.php I also saw a v12 LS1 at the 2007 SEMA show. It was in a Suburban.
  18. Great photos! You can never have enough of Quennie.
  19. Nice pictures! Great to meet you and your family this weekend. Thanks Rob for keeping us well hydrated.
