  1. WOW!!! That is absolutely beautiful, looks like my kind of place
  2. Yes Larry, it certainly would. You have seen this system. To me, aside from our full polished Stainless works system, it is the best looking exhaust system that I have ever seen on a car
  3. I understand, that would be a rather long evening drive. The system is to long to ship. The system only had 1 inch to spare in Jet-Hots oven. Just looked at invoice, $850 to coat. And 60 hours prep time before coating. an easy $1750 invested. Will take $750
  4. Shorty headers, send me a text to 336-662-3377 , I may go to the shop today and unpackage 1 side and take pictures. This is pickup only and located in Summerfield NC.
  5. I have a 2 1/2 in exhaust system for sale, no clamps, all welds have been taper ground and smoothed including the flowmasters. This complete system has just been Jet-Hot coated with an unlimited lifetime warranty. This system is still bubble wrapped , this is a dual exhaust system that turns down behind the rear tires. This is the system that was on our show car before Stainless works got a hold to it. absolute show quality!
  6. Beautiful car, The only thing that car Needs is a FIRST GEN sticker to go with the other 7 stickers
  7. Ride tech has a more affordable set-up, it used bags instead of the new shockwave. You should be able to choose a nice ride tech system within your budget
  8. We have the Ride-Tech Shockwave system, and could not be happier. Polished Dual compressors and polished 7 gal tank It is fully adjustable. Our particular system is designed for autocross and a co-pilot (which will never be used) Sure is nice though
  9. Rodney, that looks great, you did a fantastic job. Can't wait to see the finished car
  10. The answer is yes!! The nos or oem parts will make a difference in the value over reproduction parts. Which would you prefer? A kit car or an original(such as a Cobra) both look nice, however only one is worth investing in. Don't think for a minute that you can fool a real judge! Most of the ISCA judges have been doing their job since the 60's
  11. I am sure that for the larger parts, you will encounter fitment issues. If not NOS, I would still go with refurbished fenders, doors, and any other pieces that I could find original. The quality of the original pieces are unmatched by any aftermarket parts. And will not effect the true value of such a car as you have
  12. I also would highly recommend if not going NOS to consider having your trim reconditioned. Pro-one polishing in Hobart Indiana has done many pieces for us with show winning results
  13. A very good way to determine the quality of the reproduction part, such as the lower trim on the windshield, would be to hold them both out straight and watch the repop bend and touch the floor. Repop is nowhere near the quality of the original pieces. It's all in what you want. Also A lot of the trim repops are made in Tiawan
  14. With SuperChevy, NMCA, and ISCA, all three consider the first gen monte to be an A body. That is why the Monte Carlo's compete in and for the Chevelle class Awards on a national level. This I know for we have their jackets to show. The Chevelle guys hate for a Monte to take their national awards. LOL!!!
  15. I believe Sam stated that it was inspired by the El-dorado. I too have always thought it to be the gran prix. However I do see similarities of the Cadillac, now that Sam pointed that out
  16. Congrats to the both of you!!! Tony, You have got that car looking beautiful. Very well deserved.
  17. Congratulations!! To everyone, Very well deserved awards. Everyone's car looked fantastic. Makes me proud to own a monte.
