ClassicJJ
What can you guys tell me about the lock up on a 200-4r? He Trans guy I spoke to said it's the lock up that's causing my car to put around in overdrive and that I can put the electronic lock up on a toggle switch to flip on when I'm at higher speeds. Is this true?

CKZ03
Mine is set up on a brake switch to deactivate. A toggle switch would work too. There really is no need for lock up until you reach a constant cruising speed IMO. At speeds any lower than 40-45 mph I pull my car out of OD, seems to be too low of rpm's for OD and will begin a similar "chugging" effect but sounds like nothing your describing. Hope it's a simple fix.
Jason72
You can just unplug it from the trans or pull the fuse and drive it. If the problem goes away you know what it is. It will not hurt anything to do this either.
