monte0
What's the best way to attach the door water shields without having to worry about ripping them when you have to remove them?
overdrive
This strip caulk is very similar to what the factory used and works great. Most auto parts stores carry it or can get it. Dan
D.E
I bought mine lat week at the local lumber supply and that was a 100ft roll for 6 bucks instead of 13 for 3m stuff
monte0
Ok thanks. I was going to use that but wanted to see if their was any other options out their that would be easier to remove if I need to get inside the door a few times. Those paper shields don't hold up pulling them off much as Im sure you guys know
7tonemonte
Food for thought, I didn't use paper shields. Made my own with the paper as a template. I used thick padded plastic that our bumpers are shipped in here at work. Nothing says it has to be paper unless your a stickler for originality
monte0
Yea I though about that but I didn't have any originals to go buy so I bought a paper set for now. Just trying to get them to last some. thanks for the idea though, might do that and keep a set around
