farmall Posted August 21, 2014 Share Posted August 21, 2014 Hey Guys, my signal lights on my bb 72 monte used to work. We drove it the other day and I noticed something odd. when you push down for a left signal, all works fine. When you go up for the right signal, the light on the dash and the lights on the outside of the car come on, and stay on, no blinking or even the sound of blinking. Any ideas what I can check? Rob Peters Posted August 21, 2014 Share Posted August 21, 2014 The same filament in the bulbs are used for the turn signals, 4-way flasher and brake brakes. If you turn on the 4-way flashers, do they work normally front and back? If no I would suspect a bulb, wiring or bad ground. If they do work have someone step on the brake. If they don't work I would suspect again a bulb, wiring or ground. If the 4-way flashers and brake lights work but not the turn signal I would suspect the turn signal switch or flasher.
