Crank Posted July 21, 2023 Share Posted July 21, 2023 Took the transmission out of 70 Monty last night. My guy saying to go to 700R with a shift kit. Carbureted 350 Vortec dynoed at 420 hp. jft69z Posted July 21, 2023 Share Posted July 21, 2023 Go with a later version of the 700R if that's what you're set on. Learned a little bit about them recently when working on Wayne's car (Whons). The early ones are more prone to failure & aren't as durable.
