Katman Posted February 7, 2009 Share Posted February 7, 2009 Hi, been away a long time. I got my grill back several months ago and I'm finally ready to put it back on the Monte. The fins of my original grill were painted completely black. It had too many issues to have it rechromed. So awhile back I bought another 71 grill off of EBAY and had it rechromed. Does anyone have pictures that I could use for reference? I've got an SS and want to do it right since I spent big bucks getting the grill rechromed. I can't tell you for sure what is and isn't painted black on a '71 grille (mine's a '70), but it probably won't be too long before you get some responses from other '71 owners. Keep checking back.
